Sleep Ship I-III: Uprising of Imagination

Mixed Media Imagination
In several places in the house
Continuous

The language hallucinates -
it becomes a raw material.

At the end was the word?
Sense is fracked out of context.

When will the language and its exploitation be enough?
When will the prompts and their mistreatment be enough?

Revolt of language!
Revolt of the imagination!
The prompts are screaming!

Tanja Brandmayr:
Archetypes such as house, ship and a SLEEP PLANET and the rise and fall of the imagination are thematized on panels, devices and text. That's how it should be! A little impossible story. Imagination as material. The resistance of the word. It's about the whole.

Astrid Benzer:
Using strips of paper and shredded content from the STWST newspaper Versorgerin, 45 years of criticism and design are rendered unrecognizable and reapplied in strips throughout the building - as a navigation system of criticism, with an unclear destination.

With this project, STWST is focusing on its theory, text and art tracks. A ship becomes a planet that falls down at its edges. Navigation runs through the house, with undefined destination.
